Recently, Lead signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Automotive Cells Company (ACC), a European battery manufacturer, to provide lithium-ion equipment and solutions for its 13GWh battery factory. In the previous pilot line cooperation, Lead’s fast delivery quality and capability has been highly praised by the customer. Now the two sides deepen the cooperation again, and will work together to accelerate the construction of the French Gigafactory, helping the European zero-carbon green strategy and the process of vehicle electrification.
ACC, whose share holder are SAFT, Stellantis and Mercedes, aims to be the European leader in LiB batteries and has received extensive support from the French and German governments as well as relevant European institutions since its inception, committed to promoting clean, safe and affordable mobility in Europe. By 2030, ACC plans to increase its industrial capacity to at least 120 GWh and expand the development and production of next-generation high-performance cells and battery modules.
Lead entered the European market and quickly established a partnership with ACC based on its outstanding equipment technology and service capabilities. In the pilot line project, Lead equipped a strong project team for the customer, and combined with the support of overseas subsidiaries, built a perfect service system, which was fully affirmed by the customer. After the equipment arrived at the plant, the on-site staff flexibly applied their past project experience to speed up the commissioning progress and successfully achieved the first battery sample output three weeks after the equipment was powered on, which far exceeded the customer’s expectation.
Lead is a diversified and internationalized new energy equipment enterprise, which has always adhered to the global operation strategy over the years, established more than ten subsidiaries in Germany, Sweden, France, etc., and continuously improved the localization service capability, and now has become the new energy equipment service provider with the highest market share in Europe. Facing the broad market demand, Lead will provide high-quality service to more international customers with its comprehensive layout of new energy such as lithium, hydrogen and photovoltaic.
